Panamint Continued

A look at the back of the KTM 950 Adventure shows how narrow this competent bike is.

The flora was also beautiful!

For a review of the 950 KTM check this out.....950

This was the most difficult section of the ride.

Down hill with a few pebbles tossed in!

Mike, leading the riders down the rocky canyon.

Jun is parking his bike to give Craig a hand.

Many of the riders dropped their bikes and everybody was there to offer to help right the monster bikes.

This is Mike doing an excellent job of getting his bike down this narrow, steep and rocky trail!
Mike is focusing on the rocks.

There is no way to avoid the rocks.  You just try and hit the smaller rocks and avoid the larger rocks.

On these 500 pound bikes it is more difficult then it looks.

Craig bites the dust rocks one more time.

Just to the left of his windshield is a huge drop-off!

Fatigue is setting in among all the riders.

Riding this bike was an experience I will remember for many years!

The darn KTM 950 kept getting in the way of many of the pictures that were taken!

There was a filming crew in this old hotel, filming a movie.

Myself, Adam and Jim.
This is where we spent the 3 nights.

Panamint Resort and Lodge!

Thought I would get a picture of the BMW photographers.

Adam and Tom.

This is Will a unknown rider executing a rocky downhill trail.

The unknown rider claimed his feet never touched the ground.

SURE!

Jun has the big KTM in total control executing the same hill!

The KTM is a competent bike, and Jun is doing a great job of handling it!

This was a first time experience for all the riders in the group.

We rode in excess of 1 mile in this old mine!

It was actual trail riding inside a mountain.

This is Will, Jun and I about 1/2 mile underground.

When we turned the lights off, it was the darkest thing I had ever experienced!

This is Dave..............

Six of us rode home through Bodfish (that is the Kern river in the background).

Adam, Mike, Jun, Dave and Debbie.

Jun's dirt and street skills make me proud.  He has developed into an excellent rider.

Looking for him to join the "Big Dog" ride in Colorado this year!

He is ready.

Again, a special thanks to Dave and Tom from Malcolm Smith Motorsports,

Jim from RawHyde and Will from KTM.  You all made a great weekend for us all!
